Biography
Cheryl Mitchell is Academic Director of the MBA in Sustainable Innovation at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, University of Victoria. Her research examines how crisis, moral distress, systemic blame, and climate change shape leadership, collaboration, and institutional decision-making in healthcare systems. She has published in leading healthcare journals, with award-winning work on crisis leadership and moral distress. Cheryl also co-chairs AOM’s Health Care Management Division’s Practitioner Table, contributing to national health policy initiatives as a healthcare consultant and facilitator.
